Peace Mantra
May all beings be happy, May all be healthy. May people have the well-being of all in mind, May nobody suffer in any way. Om, Peace for all.

Hindu
There are a few definitions of a Hindu which are based on geography, philosophical approach and diverse practices followed from ancient times. It is extremely difficult to find a universal definition of a Hindu because Hinduism encompasses wide diversity in the beliefs, practices and traditions. I find Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak’s definition more appealing.
प्रामाण्य बुद्धिर वेदेशुः साधनानाम अनेकता
उपासनाम अनियम सवै हिंदू स्मृतः
Acceptance of the Vedas with reverence; recognition of the fact that the means or ways to salvation are diverse; and the realization of the truth that the number of gods to be worshipped is large, that indeed is the distinguishing feature of Hindu religion.
It appears that Lokmany Tilak's definition was considered by the Supreme Court of India. In 1995, Chief Justice P. B. Gajendragadkar was quoted in the Supreme Court ruling, "When we think of the Hindu religion, unlike other religions in the world, the Hindu religion does not claim any one prophet; it does not worship any one god; it does not subscribe to any one dogma; it does not believe in any one philosophic concept; it does not follow any one set of religious rites or performances; in fact, it does not appear to satisfy the narrow traditional features of any religion of creed. It may broadly be described as a way of life and nothing more."
